Benang Setokel and Benang Kelambu Waterfall are included in the Central Lombok regency, in North Batukliang village.
A refreshing cool breeze is very strongly felt. On the path of the stairs, the gurgling of water will always accompany our steps until we arrive at the location. Access to both waterfalls is comfortable, complete with stairs & handrails. Toilets and trash cans are neat and clean. In several corners, there are residents' stalls selling drinks & snacks, as well as typical Lombok menus, namely Bulayak (small rice cakes wrapped in young coconut leaves, served with Chicken/Beef Satay).
Benang Kelambu, is called so because as seen in the photo, the water does not pour heavily with a large volume, but gushes out from between wild plants & rocks along the cliff face so that it resembles a white mosquito net.
May the forest germplasm as the source of the waterfall always be maintained. Let's together maintain its beauty by at least bringing home our own snack trash.
Estimated travel time from Mataram is 1 hour 30 minutes (relaxed while enjoying the green stretch of rice fields and hills). The highway is comfortable to be passed by motorbikes or cars to the tourist location which is also part of the Rinjani Geopark.
